Shredding with Jess McMillan

Posted by P-Mac On October - 22 - 20101 COMMENT

The Freeride World Tour hosts freeskiing at it’s best and Jess McMillan knows that the best powder skiing and hucking happens after the best preparation.
Hopefully you have people in your life that absolutely kill-it in their industry and they can give you first-hand advice that can help you in YOUR game.
Hearing fitness and skiing tips from Jess McMillan is like getting financial advice from Donald Trump. She outlines the changes to the women’s pro ski tour and drops some nuggets about pilates. She also throws her hat in the ring to compete in a cutting-edge new sport.

Jess wrote a candid review of the Freeride World Tour’s changes before they got wise and changed their minds again.

Preparation positions your talent. and if you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail

Lake Tahoe Wine Tasting

Posted by P-Mac On October - 17 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

So what is the coolest thing you have done all month? This wine tasting with Gary Vaynerchuk in South Lake Tahoe on the 2nd of October was IT for me.

So why the hell has it taken me so long to post about it? Well. I totally reconfigured my whole tech infrastructure. Expect timely awesomeness from here on out.
Prepare to laugh and learn a lot.

1) ‘08 Robert Mondavi Winery Fumé Blanc Reserve Napa Valley
2) ‘08 Modus Operandi Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley
3) ‘09 Matthiasson White Wine Napa Valley (47% Sauvignon Blanc, 31% Ribolla Gialla, 19% Semillon, 3% Tocai Friulano)
4) ‘08 Sebella Chardonnay Sonoma Valley
5) ‘07 Hirsch Vineyards “San Andreas” Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast
6) ‘08 Stepping Stone Cabernet Franc
7) Bolen Family Estates Merlot Napa Valley
8) ‘07 Twisted Oak Cellars “The Spaniard,” Calaveras County (Tempranillo, Garnacha & Graciano)

One of the most awesome wines ever and the crown jewel of the tasting was #8 “The Spaniard.” It was exciting because it is Jeff Stai’s winery and he is a frikkin Daily Crusher. Friend him up and “like” his stuff. You will be richly rewarded.

What the hell does this have to do with Soccer and Skiing?   Well, I think you ought to put some wine in your boda-bag when you hit the slopes in your jeans and Oakland Raiders jacket. And a good glass of wine is great on an evening after your soccer game. There is plenty of personal growth and learning in this video to stand alone.  Leave a comment on your favorite wine and most unusual vintage.

Great wine, view and learning

Great friends learn and drink great wine together.

Thanks for being here and connecting yourself.

Welcome to "The Garage." You could get the hook up here, on next-year's goggles or cool, new schwag. It could be where you can get tickets to a match or a free lift ticket. It will be in a video email and I won't share your info with anybody.
