Brandi Chastain Series Part 2 Reach Up!

Posted by P-Mac On August - 24 - 20113 COMMENTS

Brandi Chastain shares impacting others, specifically young girls with Reach-Up!, her foundation to enrich the lives of females through sports. Great philosophy to follow for coaches, teachers and parents as well as kids.
Watch what she says about helping others think about what they want in life. She doesn’t just preach or offer advice or ask that lousy question, “What do you want to be when you grow up/” It is something far more powerful and personal.

Go to Brandi’s site- www.brandisworld.com and check it out. Cool resources for players!

Brandi Chastain Series 1 ESPN and Teamwork

Posted by P-Mac On August - 22 - 20112 COMMENTS

Brandi Chastain gives great advice about teamwork and how ESPN commentary stretched her as a player and a professional. She tells it like it is about players Abbie Wambach, Alex Morgan and Michelle Aakers, and a little about Christine Lilly, Julie Faudy, and Mia Hamm. Women’s World Cup 2011 is discussed but more importantly the qualities of Abbie Wambach and Alex Morgan that you should emulate so you can uplift YOUR game.

Soccer Player Addiction

Posted by P-Mac On August - 15 - 2011ADD COMMENTS

Soccer Player Addiction is serious and needs to be dealt with. Beware, many truths come to us wrapped up in humor. Since this realization, I have been a better communicator about what I value and what is important to me. I no longer sneak in a soccer sesh. I schedule it. Just like my skiing. Get honest and be upfront with what your needs are with your sport. Plan to get active. Don’t just do it if the time allows for it.

Thanks for sharing this and liking it and leaving cool comments. What is your guilty pleasure that you shouldn’t be feeling guilty about? Happy summer! Don’t let it end!

Best Pull-Up, Chin-Up Exercise

Posted by P-Mac On August - 4 - 2011ADD COMMENTS

Soccer players and skiers need The Best Pull-Up, Chin-Up Exercise. So do skeet-shooters.
If you do your chin-ups slowly and when you reach the top of your pull, bring up your knees to your chest, you will feel it. You will feel like you are exerting yourself way more than by just doing a normal chin-up. You will be throwing in your core. This saves time and increases stamina and makes people want to put $5 bills in your bathing suit rather than the usual $1 that other people get.
Have fun with this. Do 3 sets of your max and keep track of how many more you can do every time you do it.

tweet and share this. I can’t promise you but there is the possibility of soccer players and skiers sending you $5 bills in the mail after you do tweet, share and “like” this post. What the heck. Try it!
